Protecting and Connecting with our Community

REMSA Health is committed to connecting with our community through proactive education and outreach programs designed to reduce death and disability from injuries and sudden cardiac arrest. Our outreach programs are focused on supporting the needs of our community including improving passenger safety and safe sleep options for children to teaching bystanders how to respond when they witness a cardiac arrest.

In partnership with the Washoe County Health District and the American Heart Association, REMSA Health provides access to lifesaving equipment, supplies and resources. To be considered for a donation, Washoe County community groups can submit a donation request form.

The outreach team is dedicated to working with community partners such as Safe Kids Washoe County and the American Heart Association to identify current trends and needs throughout our region and to implement programs that make a genuine difference in preventing injury and saving lives.
